Meet Amy!

Amy joined the Towerwood Team in January 2023. She previously completed her work experience in other small animal practices and a doggy day-care. Amy adored meeting new dogs and seeing how veterinary teams take care of them. She couldn't see herself not working with dogs and other animals so then started her Veterinary Care Assistant apprenticeship. Amy hasn’t looked back since!

Her favourite part of the job is enjoying caring for patients in the wards, Amy says she finds it so rewarding assisting with their recoveries and seeing them leave the practice happy and healthy. 

Amy has a 9-year-old golden retriever called Honey who she has grown up with. Honey’s favourite place is the beach as she can run free, be sociable and swim in the sea. She is never far away from Amy and loves sleeping on her bed.

Outside of work Amy enjoy cooking, baking, going on family dog walks and socialising with friends.
